Chad Henry, Eimo Americas:

"Our company developed an automated work cell that utilized two RM 3065 AccuPlace machines, two Spectra tray changers, and a Staeubli Rx90 6-axis arm. We were able to filter all appropriate work through this work cell at a fraction of the cost while significantly increasing quality. The plant was able to reduce labor from 6 persons per shift manually applying the protective film to one person per shift tending the work cell and packaging the completed product. The work cell's cycle time is approximately 1,800 parts per hour."

Jim Wong, Muth Mirror:

"We utilize the AccuPlace 3065 as part of a power & free conveyor based automated assembly system. The machine has been in operation since May, 2002 and has run over 3 million cycles.

Overall, our experience with the AccuPlace machine has been positive. It is very easy to operate – our production team can complete a roll change in less than 2 minutes. We definitely will consider AccuPlace for future applications. "

Ray Iandoli, Uniplas:

"As an injection molding company in the mobile communications market, we are faced with shrinking product life cycles and frequent customer requests for the development of more cost effective processes and materials.

AccuPlace not only cooperates with us very closely in testing new products and materials, but acts as a true partner in process and materials development beyond a typical vendor relationship.

As a secondary benefit, their concept of standardization allows us to utilize and amortize their equipment independent of any specific application. This lowers our risk in investments significantly."
