Are you a Doer?

by Mike Terry
Global Sales Manager

Recently one of our customers had a request to demonstrate the Ævo at their factory so the

entire project team could view the technology in action. They had been left so frustrated and disappointed by their existing equipment that they did not feel they could move forward without actually seeing the machine in person. The demonstration went something like this:
1) We unpacked the machine for air and power hookup. 2) Initialized machine and placed the first adhesive part. 3) Assembled 750 parts without one misplacement or missed pick.
4) Repacked the machine.
The demo went so smooth (less than 5 minutes to hook up air, power, and place the first part) that I almost did not realize how easy it was for “me” to setup the Ævo. The “rollerless drive technology” has improved tracking so dramatically that even a “salesman can do it”. I was so excited about this development because I know many of you are less than happy with the complex machine setups and adjustments you have to endure and that seeing the Ævo’s simplicity and reliability would call you who want to eliminate these pains to act. If your labeling machine or film applicator is working well for you do not click the demo button on this email. If you are wasting time and money on complex machine setups, disappointed because it seems impossible to get your roller driven machine to track straight, or upset with the accuracy of placement, are you going to do something about it? Are you a doer - the one who recognizes challenges and does something about it? If so do click the demo button, and request a specific time and date to be contacted, and do prepare to take decisive action for a better future. The world of accurate label and film adhesive assembly is piled high with challenges, and the Ævo has risen to meet them.

See it for yourself!

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives - A Blueprint for Maturity

The use of adhesive-backed components is steadily growing as a method for assembling much of today’s technology. Computers, mobile phones, and handheld electronic devices all employ adhesive components in numerous instances. Labels, insulators, shields, and screens are just a few examples of the components used. While this trend is improving product performance, the lack of standardized assembly platforms inhibits the adoption of adhesive technology and its broad-based acceptance.
